McCain says he wants to work on the Wall St Crisis….Obama says we should debate. Do you think that this is a way for McCain to dodge the debate?
WASHINGTON - Prospects were questionable at best that John McCain and Barack Obama would meet Friday for their first presidential debate as progress appeared to dissolve between Congress and the Bush administration on a $700 billion financial industry bailout.
McCain didn’t plan to participate in the debate unless there was a consensus. Obama still wants the face-off to go on, arguing that Americans need to hear from the candidates. The Democrat was scheduled to travel to the debate site in Oxford, Miss., on Friday.
“I believe that it’s very possible that we can get an agreement in time for me to fly to Mississippi,” McCain said late Thursday. “I understand how important this debate is and I’m very hopeful. But I also have to put the country first.”

He just came out with another movie, and he is in trouble…publicity stunt? or reality?
LOS ANGELES - Shia LaBeouf will not be charged with drunken driving for his involvement in a traffic accident that badly injured his hand, but could have his license suspended because sheriff’s officials said he refused a breathalyzer test.
There was “insufficient evidence” to charge LaBeouf with drunken driving, Los Angeles County District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said Thursday. She said prosecutors are mulling charges against two other people involved in the July collision, but could not provide further details.
“Shia is most happy that he will not have to go to court,” said his attorney, Michael Norris.

I was thinking about that very question the other day.
This is what I found on CNN.
Question: Viewer from North Carolina: If the mortgage company that holds my mortgage goes out of business, what happens to my home?
Velshi: If your mortgage company goes out of business, your mortgage is still safe. … The mortgage part of that business, the good mortgages get bought by another bank. So nothing will happen to you or your home at the moment.
All of this is having an effect on the price of your home or the ability of someone to buy your home because they can’t get credit easily. But your home and your mortgage are not affected by the fact that your mortgage company may go out of business.
If you hear that your bank or mortgage company is going out of business, your obligation is to continue to pay your mortgage unless you get in writing that that situation is changed. Sometimes, your bank sells your mortgage to someone else. Then you follow those instructions.
But when you hear your company is in trouble, that doesn’t give you the option of not paying your mortgage. So please continue to do that because if you don’t pay your mortgage, it will affect your credit rating and that will affect your money — your ability to raise money, to borrow money at a good interest rate.

One of the neat things about today was that it is starting to get cooler around here. I think the weather is starting to change, and that means that Im going to start sleeping better at nite.
When the leaves change, I love to see the colors. If you don’t live near the weather change, then you are missing out.
